Guides
Start from what you want to do. Each guide gives the answer first, then the steps, and links to the reference for every setting it touches.
Play your music app through Sonir Bench to your DAC
Install Sonir Bench, choose it as the output device inside your music app, pick your DAC and start the engine. Only the music goes through Bench, and the monitor tells you whether it arrived untouched.
Measure your room with your phone and apply room EQ
Connect Sonir Remote to Sonir Bench, measure the room at your listening position, make an automatic PEQ on the phone and send it to Bench, then measure again through it. The recording never leaves the phone.
Build an EQ or effect and compare it at matched loudness
Start from a template, build a node chain in Sonir Bench, check and save it, then switch between two designs in A/B with the loudness matched, so you hear the difference in sound rather than in level.
Have an AI write a DSP design and play it in Sonir Bench
Give an AI assistant the Sonir Bench module specification, have it write one JSON, load it into Bench, hand the check result back until it passes, then save it and listen. Nothing an AI writes can play before it passes the checks.
Choose how Bench feeds your DAC: higher rates or DSD
Choose the exit rate or DSD (DoP) output in Sonir Bench to match what your DAC accepts, start the engine, and check the result on the monitor. Changes take effect at the next start.
